2. Do I have to use an estate agent to sell my property?
NO! Lancs Property provides you with a cost-effective alternative to selling your home. Not only do we provide extensive internet advertising for your property but, like estate agents we also supply you with a for sale board to capture the local market. What we don’t do, is charge you estate agents commissions!

3. Can I use an estate agent as well as advertising with ’Lancs Property’?
If you’ve already instructed an estate agent to sell your property, make sure you check your contract carefully.

Depending on the contract you’ve agreed, (or are considering) with your estate agent, you may be liable to pay them commission even if you find a buyer privately.

Under a ’sole selling rights’ contract, you would still have to pay the estate agent commission even if you find the buyer through this web-site.

4. Should I tell my estate agent?
Yes. Not only will this avoid any potential misunderstanding over commission, it should also motivate them to sell your property - if they don’t introduce your buyer, they won’t get their commission!

Yes, Lancs Property has been designed for your convenience. Once you’ve logged into your account you can quickly and easily amend your personal or property details as you wish.

11. Do you recommend having a ’For Sale’ or ’To Let’ board?
We believe our eye-catching board erected outside your property will help get your property noticed, giving it a better chance of selling quickly. The ’For Sale board’ and ’To Let’ boards includes our web-site address and our telephone number.

12. How long can I advertise for?
You can advertise your property for up to 6 months. Whilst our web-site should help you sell your property as quickly as possible, like selling through an estate agent, there are no guarantees. Properties that have been on the web-site for 6 months will have the option to renew their subscription.
